- I suppose through a ifconfig statement in user-startnet
-
- example:
-
- ifconfig a2065 204.251.32.62 netmask 255.255.255.252
-
- NOTE - I used a2065 as a example...could be Ariadne or whatever the ethernet

- Are you configured from your provider (ISP) as a network or a single IP user?

-
- If you are not configured as a network (multi-IP's) through your provider then
- you are tredging into 'proxie' ground...very difficult from the ported Amiga
- TCP/IP side or any side for that matter..its a hack...Wingate is supposdely
- capable..but no luck here as of yet... i suspect the proxie on the Amiga is
- the problem.

- If I would have read further before I could have answer my own questions about
- your network setup.! ;-)

-
- Refer back to the ifconfig statement I mention above. Gateway=YES is correct
-
-
- SY> Any help (perhaps sample startnet file) would be greatly appreciated!
-
- Again...starnet would be the slip/pp connection...the ifconfig statemnet
- secondary in user-startnet with your IP and netmask for the PC should clear
- the problem up for the second IP. Make sure to add the PC's IP to db/hosts (
- just a formality)

-
- Contact me at laserbase.com if you need any further ideas...have this
- configuration working here...2 Amigas and 2 PC's
